Our Team

Welcome to Wild Creek

Where details matter

At Wild Creek Custom Renovations, we pay attention to every detail and take pride in providing a seamless and enjoyable process from start to finish — as well as a completed product you will love for years to come. Thousands of customers have experienced our quality service, and we are passionate about the work we do every day.

Chris Haynes, CR

Owner + President

Chris started C. Haynes Construction — now known as Wild Creek Custom Renovations — in 2005. As a teenager, he worked during summers and on weekends doing landscaping, painting, and plumbing for contractors. Fresh out of high school, Chris worked for several different companies building custom homes and learning from the best of the best. Within just a couple years he became the Project Manager.

At the age of 21, the contractor he worked for closed his business and his former boss asked him to take care of a few of his favorite customers. Rather than looking for another job, Chris decided to start his own company. There were many growing pains and it took a lot of hard work, but he kept going, even through the economic downturn from 2008-2011. Today, the future is bright, and Wild Creek has thousands of customers now living in their dream homes.

Chris is now a NARI Certified Remodeler and is very active in the local community. In 2023 he will be the President Elect of the Austin NARI Chapter. In Chris’ spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five teenagers, entertaining guests at his home, and he is passionate about grilling and smoking all kinds of meats for friends and family.

Chris Martin

Sales Director

Our Director of Sales for Wild Creek Custom Renovations is Chris Martin. Chris is originally from the Olympic Peninsula, about an hour’s drive northwest of Seattle. After high school he served in the US Army for 3 years and then returned to the Seattle area doing home remodeling and general contracting for several years.

After starting a family, Chris changed paths and became a Director in the Hospitality Industry, leading teams in various hotel brands all over the US. This job allowed Chris and his family to travel and spend time in Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Austin and most recently, the Hawaiian Islands.

Ultimately, Chris and his family decided to settle back in the great state of Texas in early 2019 and are proud to now call Austin their home. He has brought his passion for delivering the highest quality services and applied it to helping people achieve their dream homes with Wild Creek.
